I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to be overwhelmed by the details of life this week. I was reminded by a friend of the wonderful book, Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig. My thoughts led me to a quote that is apropos for the ALFN membership:

This makes me laugh. I guess the way of Enlightenment can be found at a table. May your eating and foraging be mindful and tranquil. Here’s to our common need.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to Surata Wood and her Daughter, Zakira for stepping up and handling the Hamilton Mill Market last Thursday. Sarah was ill and Surata jumped right in and handled everything from pickup at the Lawrenceville location to toting items to Hamilton Mill, setting up, getting Members their orders and breaking down after close! “Thank You” seems inadequate for your last minute efforts! Know that we all appreciate you! We look forward to Sarah being back with us this week! (to Surata’s great relief!)
